Using Google Adwords To Promote Your Bricks And Mortar Business

Google Adwords can be used to build your offline business, but only under certain circumstances. First, you must have a website or a blog before you can use Google Adwords and if you want to use them to increase the profitability of an offline venture, it must be a website.

If you already have a website, it is important to make sure that it is well designed and maximized to convert visits to sales. Make sure your phone number and address is clearly visible in many places on your site if you want people to personally contact your business. Also, make sure online contact is easy for website visitors should they have any questions. Your website is an opportunity for you to build credibility and if you can’t be contacted online all your good work could be undone.

It is possible to promote your bricks and mortar business with Google Adwords if you use geo-targeting to attract local visitors. Geo-targeting means that Google evaluates the location of each visitor and displays your Google Ad to local prospects only. Geo-targeting is an excellent way to increase the click-thru-rate (CTR) and the return on investment (ROI) for offline businesses by specifically targeting local prospects. You can further increase your CTR by using your location in the keywords you choose and in the advertisement itself.

However, you need to be aware that most people who choose to look for products and services on the internet also want to purchase online where possible. Therefore, even though you want to market your offline business, it is important to have the facility for online purchases as well. If visitors come to your website and don’t find anything there of interest, there is very little likelihood they will be inspired to physically visit your business.

At least one of four things is necessary to convert an online shopper into an offline buyer. These are:

1. You need a totally unique product that is only available from you and which people perceive they need.

2. A product too expensive to risk buying online and which personal customer service and backup (should anything go wrong) is considered essential.

3. A product that is too difficult to use or which has confusing set up instructions so that the potential customer needs to see someone face to face.

4. A product that must be replaced when used up and for which postage is an unnecessary increase in cost.

If your product does not conform to one of these descriptions, it is important to make sure your website is setup to take orders and make sales. It only makes sense to use your website for additional online sales while it is also promoting your offline business.

Google Adwords can certainly be used to promote your bricks and mortar business, however why would you choose to limit yourself when you can have a thriving online business as well?

Using Google Alerts To Help Your Business

At times it seems that Google releases more new products and services than we can keep track of. From Google Calendar and Google Video, to Google Base, Google Finance, and Google Trends, it can be overwhelming just to remember what each one does. One of the oft overlooked hidden gems in Google's enormous offering is Google Alerts. Within minutes, one can be signed up for email alerts that can give them and their business a leg up on the competition. Alerts can be used to spy on competitors, keep track of what people are saying about your business, or follow an important news story.

How Does It Work

Google Alerts sends you an email each time a new page for your chosen term makes it in the top twenty results on Google's web search. You can also have the alert check Google News and/or Google Groups. To sign up for a Google Alert, all that you need to do is visit the Google Alerts homepage (http://www.google.com/alerts), enter the search term, type of alert (search Google News, Google Groups, or the web), frequency of emails (daily, as it happens, or weekly), and your email address. You can set up alerts for as many terms as you like using a Google Account. So why would you want an unlimited amount of alerts? Because as a business owner, you have a lot to keep track of and very limited time to do it.

Spy on Your Competitors

Every business has a competitor. More likely, you have several direct competitors and several more indirect competitors. While regularly checking out their websites is an important part of the process, it doesn't paint the whole picture. A competitor’s website is very much crafted to the image that they want to portray to their customers. This is great if you want to know what their latest sale is or how much their new product costs, but it isn't likely to feature a negative review in last Sunday's newspaper.

That's where Google Alerts comes in. By simply setting up a News, Groups, and search alert for each of your competitors, you will know what other people are saying about your competition – both the media and consumers, both good and bad.

Keep Up To Date on Your Industry

Equally as important as what people are saying about your competition is what people are saying about your industry in general. If there's a negative PR swing against violent video games, and you just happen to run a video game store, you will probably be affected. By receiving alerts on important key words related to your industry, you can be on top of any sudden changes and react accordingly. By the time your competition realizes what's happening they will be scrambling to catch up to you.

Track Yourself and Your Business

It goes without saying, if it's important to know what people are saying about your competitors and about your industry, it would stand to reason that it's important to know what people are saying about you. I have Google Alerts on both my name and my businesses name. I know that they go hand in hand – if one is getting slandered you better bet it will hurt the other. By receiving alerts, you can be on top of anything negative relating to you or your business, and hopefully nip any problem in the bud before it grows too large. On the flip side, there's nothing better than receiving an alert where someone praises your business. Those are the types of things that you want to make sure are on the PR page of your businesses website.

Get News Stories for Your Site or Blog

I own a site where I do weekly news updates about what's going on in the industry. Some weeks, there are tons of news items to choose from, other weeks it's hard to find anything. In addition to the regular industry news sites that I check to get information, I have Google Alerts set up for each of the key terms. You'd be surprised how frequently a unique story from a local newspaper pops up in Google News. Many times these stories haven't been seen by my competitors and I am able to “break” the news to the online community. This works well for blogs too – if you have a daily blog about being an entrepreneur, having an alert for the word “entrepreneur” can fetch you several quality stories each day to help inspire fresh posts.

In this increasingly competitive business world, you need each and every leg up on your competition that you can get. Used properly, Google Alerts can be an extremely efficient way to track what's going on across the web. The alternative would be to search each term every day for new updates. Who has time for that? Spending less time researching enables you to spend more time on the things important to your business.

Google Basics For Ecommerce Businesses

Google dominates the search engine world, despite the fact that the conversion-to-buyer rate at MSN is much higher. This forces most ecommerce businesses to try and dance Google’s waltz, without fully comprehending the ins and outs of how Google works.

Navigating Google is difficult. Most SEO optimizing specialists and SEO Internet marketers do not understand what they are doing. In fact, most of them are so far behind the times that their information is useless. Summer 2007 saw the latest change in Google’s algorithm leaving many ecommerce businesses with sharp decreases in traffic.

What is a Google Algorithm

The Google Algorithms are basically the math formulas used to determine which web pages rank high in the searches, and which ones rank low, or are banned. Google changes the rules every 18 - 24 months to help them sweep away websites that are not optimized and MFA (Made For AdSense) static sites.

Google also makes changes to meet the needs of the webmasters. When Google brought in their inbound link ranking system, it gave many webmasters an opportunity to build link farms, gaining an unfair advantage. In response Google now looks for content around a link. If there is no content, then the link has no value.

When Google started to focus on content, webmasters and programmers created Content Management Systems. Unfortunately, until recently, Google could not read database pages. Now, the programmers have created a static page method of page creation, and search engines learned how to read content off databases.

Search Engine Optimization

Many webmasters do not understand what this means. And, many SEO optimizers do not understand what this means. To many, it still means coding a page so that the keywords are highlighted, and under .05% of the content (including link bars). They believe it is a method of web design.

Ecommerce businesses are still scrambling to pay SEO optimizers big bucks to make their pages rank high, when meta tags and SEO tricks have very little importance. Now, the search engines are looking for good content, with heading titles, and a site full of similar content, with articles linked together using the same ‘keyword anchors.’

Google’s new algorithms have made it possible for many small ecommerce businesses to build their page rank, and search engine rank, without ever paying a dime to a SEO specialist.

The Google Sandbox and Supplemental Index

Both of these cause chills to run up most webmasters spines, but only because they are not understood, Google does not have a Sandbox. Yes, it may take a few months to get your website listed and showing up, inbound links may not appear for a long time, and a website may not show up when searched - but that is not a sandbox. It is just a backlog. One way to overcome it is to take part in Google’s PayPerClick program. Even if you only invest $20 a month, being a part of that program immediately links your site, so you do not need to wait.

The supplemental index is as easy to get out of. First, take a look at the meta information - is it too generic? If so, then do not use keywords but use keyword phrases. The keyword ‘ecommerce’, is too generic, so is ‘ecommerce business.’ However, ‘learn how to start an ecommerce business’ will help that page target. Next, make sure the page is linked to a high ranking page. This can be done by putting links inside the page - or by adding it to the website’s navigation system. Within a short time, that page will no longer be in the supplemental index.

Google Proof Your Business From Updates

With the relative chaos that surrounded Google’s last major search engine algorithm update (Big Daddy) now on the ebb, there is now time to reflect –but not a lot of time. Google will continue to update its search engine algorithms, and sometimes in essential, infrastructural ways, as they seek to improve the quality of searches. Indeed, in all the fuss over Big Daddy the fact that the Jagger update (which temporarily gave msn.com a page rank of 2) preceded it by only two months. While this development is, of course, good in the sense that all who use the machine will have a better machine with which to search, it is a turbulent environment that can materially impact our online businesses –your business.

Operations that depend on Page Rank and that have spent the time and resources to cultivate a high one need some assurance that their work won’t be wiped out in a blink. What it requires are a few tactics to improve your chances for surviving Google updates. Here are a couple of tips farmed from several blogs and bulletin boards throughout the web. Essentially what the discussion boils down to is a concern over function.

“Google wants to present high quality web sites that are interesting to web surfers in its search results”, says free-seo-news.com. I think everybody can agree that this is true. However, what does it mean? What qualities does Google command its crawlers to analyze for when listing and ranking websites? Furthermore, are there things to be done outside of what we generally think of as SEO activity to improve our chances? Some suggestions for answers to these questions are as follows:

First, I can’t tell you exactly what it means, but there are definite qualities Google’s crawlers are programmed to analyze when listing or ranking a page, and while their optimization is never a guarantee in the face of beasts like Big Daddy, it certainly improves your chances.

Time and consistency are of the essence. Make sure the website gets regular updates. Keep things fresh. Let the Google-bots know there is stuff going on. As for time, well that kind of runs on its own. Keyword optimization is also growing necessity. The trick is to be strategic. As John Hill, an SEO Professional says in his article for seo-news.com, ‘If you have a ten page website in a highly competitive market then ranking for the major keywords will be close to impossible.’ He suggests using tools to see which keywords relevant to your organization are already heavily contested, and to find alternate keywords to claim.

There are other ‘white-hat’ SEO trade tricks, and they are well summarized in a number of places. If you are not familiar with them definitely become acquainted with the basics. Even if you hire someone to do it for you, know the essence of SEO, Google, and their functions. However, as stated above these tricks and techniques are not always a match for the algorithm updates. While staying on top of your website’s SEO is crucial, it is also a good idea to cultivate a customer base in a sphere outside of the Google search –that timeless discussion over eggs and baskets. Do not neglect a mailing list. Do not depend entirely on the search engines for customers. If people like what your website has to offer they may or may not bookmark it, email the link to friends or even link to it from their website. In other words, even with Google’s awesome capabilities, word-of-mouth is still the best of all marketing tools. Stay in the radar. Grow a mailing list and send out newsletters to those who have subscribed; not just any newsletter, a newsletter people can use. Think about it. How do you feel about subscribing and receiving fluff when what you want is information?

If you’ve done your job providing good content and staying ‘present’ to a growing number people, your website should be able to better weather the slowed search engine traffic from a Google algorithm storm. Based on bulletin board discussions surrounding Big Daddy it appears some websites spent as long as five or six weeks either listed ‘supplemental’ or with radically diminished Page Rank. While that was an extreme situation, you’re aim should be to try and cultivate a customer or readership base large enough to compensate for such ‘lost’ time so as to make those accidental Google pains less painful.

Google Adword - Secret X Factor - Build An Home Business Empire

One of today’s successful internet marketers has built his own home business empire by combining the powerful marketing tool, Google AdWords, with his own Secret X Factor. His secret success formula helped this acclaimed internet marketer find his own personal corner of internet success in an area that was already a favorite hobby and golfing. Keep reading to learn how Google AdWords helped this marketer build a customer base for his online business and to learn more about his secret formula for success.

Leading internet search engine, Google, introduced their AdWords program in 2000. AdWords is a low cost advertising program designed to give small businesses exposure online. Users can choose simple, text based ads or catchier, interactive image ads in a variety of banner sizes.

Over the years, Google has enhanced and expanded AdWords to provide business owners with a number of different advertising options to ensure every business venture, regardless of size or product, can benefit from the program. With AdWords’ Pay Per Click advertising, website and business owners can choose key search words relevant to their product or service. Their advertisements may appear along with Google search results related to their website and advertisers pay a predetermined amount each time a visitor lands on their site through the ad. The proven system makes certain that ads only appear on appropriate pages, meaning more visits and more sales for advertisers.

Google’s AdWords now offers even more advertising flexibility and success with site targeted advertising. AdWords users can select websites that are related to their product or service and place a bid for ad placement on the site. Site targeted advertising allows businesses to get the most value out of their advertising dollars by reaching a broad range of prospective clients who all share an interest in the advertiser’s product.

AdWords ads can appear on industry leader, Google, as well as their partner networks, including AOL search, Netscape, and Ask. The ads may also appear on websites that are closely related to the advertiser’s site and on a variety of other websites that display ads near related context to increase traffic to their site. Most AdWords advertisers see a large increase in visitors to their online business, which, in turn, means more sales and more profit.

Through Google’s professional training course, our successful internet marketer became an expert in AdWords. His understanding of how pay per click advertising works and his expert knowledge of the AdWords program helped him to bring in numerous new business prospects for a mere fraction of most business advertising budgets. Several other low cost methods of online advertising also factor in to this noted entrepreneur’s success in internet marketing.

This internet marketer’s continued experience with Google AdWords furthered his expertise in the area. He developed proven methods of choosing revenue generating keywords that offer the best value for the budget, as well as the keys to writing a successful ad copy with relevant, sales driven results.

Once his expert knowledge of AdWords began to bring visitors to his website, it was time for the successful marketer to put his Secret X Factor to work.

The first thing this successful marketer did was use his special attribute to create a name for himself, not just in the golfing community, but as an internet marketer as well. He gained the trust and respect of every prospective client with his secret recipe for success, significantly expanding his customer base and his profits.

As his customer base grew, the successful marketer continued to use his special success recipe to expand his home business empire to include a variety of products and services his customers would truly appreciate. With his special marketing weapon, he could meet the needs of his clients by promoting the items they want to buy.

The hours needed to run his expanding home business helped this successful internet marketer learn even more important aspects of building a lucrative online business. He learned low cost ways to delegate the tasks associated with his business. As a successful entrepreneur, he learned to manage his time by subcontracting freelancers, especially for jobs that would cost himself a great deal of time or where his work may lack the quality someone more experienced in the area could provide.

This cutting edge internet marketer’s goal in business has always been to provide not only his longtime customers, but each and every prospective client as well, with the best service, the best products, and the best advice. With his Secret X Factor formula, his AdWords expertise, and plenty of hard work, he has built a successful and profitable home based business centered around this goal.

6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense - Part 3

Copyright 2006 The IWE, LLC. All Rights Reserved.

Google Adsense is simply pure genius because of its simplicity to produce profits from your website Day and Night while your sleeping.

Who knew that a business on the Internet could be so simple to build and makes many people 5 to 6 figures a month by simply offering people what they're looking for... INFORMATION!

Now if you've been following my "6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense" series and have viewed some of the websites out there with Google Adsense on them then you should have a good idea by now of what you need to do to get your Google Adsense empire off and running.

I like giving examples because it really reinforces the importance of where you need to place your Google Adsense Ads in order to get a good CTR(Click Through Rate) as well as how you can blend them into your content so they don't look so obvious that there ads and as well, give you some idea's as to what others are doing so your not left there scratching your head saying... "Am I doing this right?".

These few last weeks I've been working Day and Night on a new project using Google Adsense and want you first hand to take a look so you can model it for your own Adsense websites.

This website will grow on it's own, and the cool thing is, I won't have to write a single word if I don't want to.

Go take a look ==> http://www.thearticlesyndicate.com

Like I said, I like to give you examples and this is an example of what I talked about in my first part of my VRE Google Adsense series.

Anyway, without further adieu, lets move on to the next VRE Google Adsense business model that could pay you in two ways depending how you choose to structure it.

In the last installment I covered "Web Directories".

So in this part of the VRE series I'm going to cover "Review Sites" and then give you some examples of what they might look like.

Here we go.

VRE Model #3. Review Sites.

"Review Sites" are pretty self explanatory but are basically websites that focus on writing Product Reviews(people giving there personal opinion) about Products and/or Services that people offer on the web and/or offline.(ex: Automobile Reviews, etc.)

That's it. That's all they are. BUT, those reviews still contain "CONTENT". Content Google can use to display targeted Google Adsense Ads which in turn could earn you BIG money if you target the right niche.

Now, as I just mentioned "Review Sites" can target any Niche, whether it's Sports, Gambling, Dating -- basically whatever your interests are as long as there's a market for it.

I also mentioned earlier that you could get paid two ways by having your own review site and it's really NO secret.

All you have to do is write reviews on Products and/or Services that offer an Affiliate Program and then simply incorporate your affiliate link into your review using a quick "Call To Action" like...

... "Click Here NOW For All The Details".

Now, if they don't click out through an Google Adsense Ad and choose to click out through your affiliate link and purchase, well... you did your job. You just made a commission.

That's it.

Now you could also set up a review site where others could submit their reviews, the only problem is... they get the affiliate commission, but you still have your Google Adsense through out your review site making you clicks that make you money.

It's up to you on how you want to build it.

Now, lets wrap this up with a few examples shall we.

Here's 3 that I think will give you a good idea of what to expect:

Web Source:

http://www.web-source.net/previous_reviews.htm

Top Ten Reviews:

http://www.toptenreviews.com/

Consumer Search:

http://www.consumersearch.com/www/lawn_and_garden/

Now, as I said earlier, your review site can be Topic Specific or can target multiple Topics. It's up to you.

These are just a few that I picked randomly while doing a search on Google.

I hope they gave you some idea's on whether or not you want to consider building an VRE review site.

Surf around on Google - http://www.google.com - in the area that interests you the most to see if anybody else is doing it or do some keyword research to see if it's even worth pursuing.

There are always factors to consider before building a business, even with Google Adsense, so make sure you do your homework before hand.

That's it for now. So, be sure to be on the look out for my next installment of "6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense".

6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense - Part 4

I hope your ready for this installment of "6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense" because what I'm going to reveal to you is in my opinion one of the BEST VRE Business Models you can start with absolutely ZERO cost to you.

The only thing your required to do is learn how to set them up with Google Adsense and targeted affiliate programs.

They are FREE, there's no hosting costs(optional), search engines love them, they use a state of the art syndication technology and are one of the most talked about phenomenons to hit the web simply because they work.

So, with that said, let's get on with it.

VRE Model #4. Niche Blogs.

"Niche Blogs" are simply dynamic websites that use a syndication technology called RSS, which stands for Real Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary, that can target any Niche Market.

Now, why do Niche Blogs make such a great VRE Business Model?

Simple. People come online seeking 'Information' on or about a particular topic or problem.

Information comes in many forms online, but one of the most Powerful forms are 'Articles'.

The great thing about Blogs is they give you the ability to Post content, more specifically, targeted content to your niche and then they ping the search engines to come and take a look for potential indexing, then... using the RSS technology, it will then syndicate that post INSTANTLY via RSS to all who's subscribed to that particular feed giving them the highly target content they requested.

Also, when someone clicks on any of the links your feed is displaying, guess what? It will bring them to back to your blog with all your Google Adsense ads and related affiliate programs which is where you'll make your money.

The real cool thing is the information you choose to post doesn't necessarily even have to be yours. You can go to ANY article directory on the web and use other peoples content, saving you *tons* of time writing it yourself.

The best part about this VRE Model is, all you have to do is set up your blog template with Google Adsense and targeted affiliate programs that will solve that persons query and post to it on a regular basis.

That's it!

All other actions after that are beyond your control because you can't make them click on an ad, all you can do is try to entice them to make a decision.

Now, if this VRE Business Model interests you and you want to get started with building Niche Blogs then I recommend you go to Blogger.com - http://www.blogger.com - since they have an easy to use interface and are owned by the all mighty Google.

Just before I warp this up I always like to give examples so I'll leave you with this one that I've been working on.

Go check it out. It might give you some ideas as to how you might want to set up your own Niche Blogs.

http://www.internetwondersezine.com/internet-joint-venture/

Well, that's it for this installment of "6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense".

Be sure to keep your eyes open for my next installment which will reveal yet another 'POWERFUL' VRE Business Model using Google Adsense and targeted affiliate programs.

6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense - Part 2

All Rights Reserved.

Okay, it's now time for the next installment of... "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense" series.

By now you should have a good idea of what Virtual Real Estate is and why it's to your benefit that you start a network of your own VRE sites depending on the model you choose.

In the last installment of this series I covered "Article Directories".

In this part of the VRE series I'm going to cover "Web Directories" in general and then give you some examples of what they might be and look like.

Sound good?

VRE Model #2. Web Directories.

An "Web Directory" is simply a directory on the World Wide Web that specializes in linking to other web sites and categorizing those links. Web Directory owners will often allow site owners to submit their site for inclusion. Then human editors will review their submission and if accepted, will be added to their database.

The one thing about Web Directories is they are often used as part of a website marketing strategy for being indexed in the major search engines like Yahoo!, Google, MSN to name a few.

The main strategy behind someone submitting there website to a directory is that a new site needs to quickly build inbound links from reputable sources. In doing this they will get a higher ranking within search engine results under there target keywords depending on the PR(popularity ranking) of that directory or inbound link.

That's the basic run-down of what an Web Directories purpose is and why they make a great VRE business model.

Web Directories can be and target anything you want them to. It's your directory, so you make the decision as to what it is about.

As your directory grows, so will its traffic.

And if you have targeted affiliate programs strategically placed on your directory along side your Google Adsense code, you could be making a nice, steady income form your directory like many others are right now.

Now... as I said at the beginning of this article I would give you some examples of some Web Directories with Google Adsense so you see for yourself whether or not this is something you want to venture into.

So, with that said, here are 3 directories that I think will give you a good idea of what to expect:

Free Stuff Directory:

All Free Things - http://www.allfreethings.com/

eBook Directory:

Wisdom eBooks - http://www.wisdomebooks.com/

Software Directory:

Software5 - http://www.software5.com/

Now remember, your Online Directory can be about anything you want. Your in control.

These are just some examples of whats out.

Did you happen to see the Google Adsense ads?

BINGO!

Also, pay special attention to where those Google Adsense ads are positioned because this is KEY to getting a good CTR(Click Through Rate) with your Google Adsense ads.

Now, at this point, it's up to you to make the decision on whether or not this is the type of VRE business model you want to use and start.

I recommend you surf around and see whats out there with your interests in mind. By doing that you will be able to get some good idea's as to what to expect and more importantly, model your directory and/or VRE sites from.

Well, that's it for now. So, be sure to be on the look out for my next installment of "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense".

6 Powerful VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense - Part 1

VRE -- better known as "Virtual Real Estate" is literally everywhere online.

That's right. Everytime you do a search on whatever it is your searching for via the Internet you get a list of results. Within that list of results lye's thousands, if not, millions of pages of Virtual Real Estate that is making someone out there on the WWW some handsome profits.

The question is... "what have you done in order to stake your Internet "VRE" claim so you too can enjoy some of that profit as well?"

If you haven't started anything yet, that's okay because I did a little research for you and came up with these "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense" so you too can benefit like the many others out there online.

The first VRE business model I'd like to talk about are -- Article Directories.

VRE Model #1. Article Directories.

Article Directories are in my mind are probably one of the best VRE business models on the web simply because they offer your audience and publishers Multiple Channels of information on any topic.

And the facts are, people come online for information.

So, what do Article Directories contain?

That's right... Information! ... and lots of it.

The other great benefit to Article Directories is that you don't have to write a single word if you don't want to because the whole purpose of starting your Article Directory in the first place is to get other people(we also call them authors) to submit their content for your readers and/or publishers to read and use.

Now, the Rule Of Thumb is simple when it comes to growing your Article Directory and that is... the more authors you recruit, the more your Article Directory will grow, filling it full of targeted information for your readers to digest and for publishers to use on their websites.

It gets better, so keep reading.

Did you know that the more pages you have within your Article Directory means... the more search engine food you'll have for the search engines to come and index into their database which will then be displayed within the search engines search results.

Remember in the beginning of this article when I was talking about the search engine results being full of Virtual Real Estate. This is where your Article Directories webpages(or your Virtual Real Estate) will be listed for web surfers find.

This also means that you'll receive a lot of FREE targeted search engine traffic to your Article Directory as it grows giving your authors FREE targeted traffic to their sites and keeping them happy, and at the same time, will be building your VRE nest egg on the WWW.

Are you starting to see the benefits to starting your own Article Directory on the Internet?

I hope so.

But don't go anywhere just yet, I'm not finished.

There's two more things I want to talk to you about before this part of the article series ends.

The first is RSS -- better known as "Real Simple Syndication" and what RSS does is it allows you to syndicate your Article Directories content or just content in general through an RSS feed so that any reader and/or publisher who subscribes to a particular RSS feed within your Article Directory will receive ANY new updated content that is published... INSTANTLY!

The other benefit to a RSS feed is... lets say you have 1000 publishers subscribed to one of your RSS feeds and one of your authors submits a new article at your Article Directory, all those publishers who subscribed to that RSS feed will receive it once that RSS feed updates and when someone clicks on the link within that RSS feed to read the new article, guess where the visitor is sent to?

You guessed it, your Article Directory, with your Google Adsense ads(I'll talk about that in a second) and whatever other related affiliate links you have on that webpage.

Now... for the BEST part, how-to make a $Profit$ with your Article directory.

I'm telling you, this is the easiest money you'll ever make for simply supplying your viewers and the Internet(A.K.A. The Information Super Highway) with what it needs the most, Information!

How do you do it?

Heard of Google Adsense(as I mentioned just a minute ago), because if you haven't, now you have.

What is Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is Googles affiliate program for publishers and how it works is it displays ads targeted towards the content on that particular webpage being viewed.

How do you get paid? Simple. Your reader just has to click on one of the ads within the Google Adsense ad box on that webpage and depending on what the topic is and keyword could pay some handsome commissions(usually between 35% to 50%).

And, guess what? You didn't even have to do any selling OR follow-up.

Not bad and believe me those clicks add up Fast and by having the search engines returning frequently for regular indexing and having RSS feeds(remember, when someone clicks on the RSS feed link on someone elses website they get redirected back to yours with your Google Adsense ads on it and other affiliate links) for other publishers to use on their websites you'll soon see your Google Adsense profits get Bigger and BIGGER!

Well, that's it for now. So be sure to be on the look out for my next installment of the "6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense".
